  • A Heritage of Power

The origin of the Ram dates back to 1914 when Horace and John Dodge first established the Dodge Brothers Motor Vehicle Company. Building upon the success of its first model, a sophisticated touring car, the automaker sought to expand its lineup and began to manufacture trucks. Overturning convention with these wildly impressive trucks, the company soon achieved a reputation as a premier truck maker. In 1917, the reliability of Ram trucks was even acknowledged by the US military, and the Dodge Brothers provided many staff and ambulance vehicles for the battlefield During World War I. As the years progressed, Ram eventually secured a title as one of the leading automakers in the nation.

  • The Brand, Reimagined

Produced by none other than the Dodge brothers, the name Dodge and Ram were naturally linked together. According to the official Ram blog, "the name 'Ram' was not used in conjunction with a specific model until the early '80s." However, the iconic symbol of the charging Ram goes as far back to 1932 when it was conceived by a sculptor named Avard Fairbanks. The famous logo of the Ram was well received and was produced with every Dodge until 1954. The name of the Dodge Ram continued to persist even after, but the brand finally split in 2009 as a means to focus better on their respective audiences with the Ram emphasizing its focus on the commercial truck market.

  • Move Forward into the Future with Ram

The Ram brand continues to stay true to its heritage and provides its loyal fans with an extraordinary lineup of trucks. No matter if you choose to drive the popular Ram 1500 or its more powerful counterparts, you can be sure that your Ram will give you all the functionality you need to tackle the obstacles ahead. Not only will these trucks fare better against challenging road conditions like heavy snow and rain thanks to their tough structure, but they will also give you a greater towing capacity because of their advanced engines. There's just no shortage of benefits when it comes to driving a Ram, and it only gets better with each passing year.
